Meet Mr. Jingles

Who would have thought the McRitchies would have a cat. Brandt isn't fond of them and I have had bad cat karma since I was a small child (ask my family! Cats have launched themselves at my head since I was small)

BUT, we saw this wee baby kitten on the side of the road while looking at Christmas lights on 23rd Dec. We couldn't catch him as there was quite a lot of jolly noise coming from the carollers in my minivan. I couldn't get this tiny bundle of fur out of my head, it was just so cute. I tried to forget over Christmas and our boxing day/night trip to Philip Island.

When I returned home I saw a comment on facebook that one of our friends had caught the same kitten on the following night (24th) and their grand daughter above named him Mr Jingles.

Our vet Candice has checked him out and given him the all clear.

He is adorable and loved by everyone except a jealous puppy and the father of the house (I am sure both with come around)

Merry Christmas 2014

The most relaxing Christmas ever!!! 2014

 The most relaxing day ever.

Peri-Peri sniffing where the reindeer had been... They each got a plate and a carrot. Someone wasn't hungry as they only ate half.
There were surprises and happy faces when opening presents.

Christmas is indeed and exciting time of year.

There are ALWAYS crazy faces in our family photos
 The aftermess.
After a big brunch of ham & eggs on our new back deck it was time to head to the beach for the day.

Our first family photo of all 5 of us on the raft.

Me..... relaxing
After the beach ( and after setting up the new trampoline), we went to Mary and Bernies to see the little boys for Christmas cuddles.

Teddy loves all children but LOVES baby James.
And that was it... a lovely relaxing day with some phonecalls to home and messages on facebook.
Merry Christmas from a very peaceful and relaxing Norfolk Island.
